last week many of us celebrate the new san francisco jazz center. the house of moment will break ground this year and in center market the arts and the theater are the great event there that were and there's a shop theater to other a v ts opening of the theatre. and we're we've proven that we have the unveiling of the apple product and there's other events like the fleet week or sports focused event like the craft of fight of the hungry bowl, the 2013 cup and, of course, the america's cup this summer. and with all of your help in may of this year we'll be making the case that san francisco is the best city in america to host the super bowl sunday in 2013. but friends you know what still mother - i'm concerned that some folks are still not involved in this great city. i'm proud that working with the trades units and we have consistently meet and exceeding our goals of placing people on projects. thank you commissioner. last summer we provided more than 5 thousand summer jobs for young people in partnership with the united people in the bay. we also w

i'm sorry to say we see these all over san francisco. i'm sorry to say we have to live in a place where people feel it necessary to lock themselves in and lock people out. this is rusting. it tells me a couple of things. it tells me it was not hot dipped when they made it. it was not hot dipped galvanized. somebody chose to paint it and the paint is not being maintained. it's hard to get in there with the wire brush and scrape the soul off but that's what you have to do. wire brush it. wire brush? >> just on the top. francisco and a lifestyle, or the people moving to san francisco, many of them who we know, without a job and find themselfs in high cost living area while still searching for jobs for quite a while and i can see that problem for having many in san francisco that are well educated but jobless. i do like the idea of trying to stay pro-active to it and not reactive as we have have in the past. i think that being reactive really helps and stimulates, driving real estate cost really higher because the people are in the panic mode to buy, sell or find themselves places i like the idea of zoning, and i am a believer that even if you zone an area for growth does not mean that it will help in a way and the market will control itself, but it does get out of control but at some point as we have seen in the last eight years, because of the difficult in getting money it does sort of self-regulate itself and this kind of leads to a larger discussion, probably beyond us, and with the mayor's office of economic workforce development with the jobs and what they are focusing on and what jobs can be

francisco system in addition to 100% of the waters of brisbane and san francisco and daly city. this facility is one of the only wastewater in the nation to fit directly across the street from residents without a physical barrier in place. most of the residents who live directly across the street from this facilities they rent the homes and are also homeowners. there are five digesters, lot vat waters with bacteria and the storm water and once it's digested the solids are siphoned off and piped across the street. the remaining solids are trucked to a waste facility located in merced california. the digesters have an old out dated and environmental unjust design. one reason for this is the floating unsealed top which allows the smell of the sewage to emanate throughout the neighborhood. what is more there is history of the sewage leaking out during the rainy seasons. they have received complaipts about this and they are chemicals used in the process and according to the usda these are the nitrogen oxides at 1.5 9 tons per year. this nitrogen oxide exposure causes respiratory expo
